Paws is a 501c3 non-profit, no-kill, and an all-volunteer run cat and kitten rescue.
Our rescue group began at the pound in Lebanon in 2003. In 2011, we had the opportunity to open our own shelter. We work closely with animal control officers, veterinarians and other rescue groups to help as many cats and kittens as we can.
Each year, Paws place over 800 cats and kittens into adoptive homes.

TheChocolateOpal® proudly supports PAWS Animal Welfare Society to help care for and save animals who need loving homes. PAWS is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit shelter dedicated to rescuing homeless animals and placing them in loving new homes for over 50 years.
Riley, adopted family member....
Riley is our cutie boy!
Affectionate, adorable and loving part of our family.
He came to us with a built-in alarm clock, everyday, even on the weekend, 5:00-a.m....MEOOWW!
Riley came from a home where the owner had to give up one of her cats and as unfortunate as it was for her, we are grateful to have him in our lives.
Just remember.......
Animals do not have a choice, but people do.

This big, fluffy homeless guy, adopted me, summer of 2014! He was "hanging around" with my cat "Nula-The Brat," trying to make friends with her when finally, he did win her over as well as myself. Skittish as he was thankfully, is just a memory!
